Research Interests

I enjoy using a variety of statistical methods to postprocess numerical weather
prediction models. Some recent focuses have been:

• Generating probabilistic forecasts from deterministic inputs using machine learning.
• Increasing the flexibility of traditional parametric postprocessing models by combining these with random forests.
• Developing joint distributional regressions for multivariate postprocessing.
